Charlie Reilly saves the day!

After a few disastrous weeks at Thorngate we have returned to The Henry Cook Centre, members are so relieved. So much for my retirement from early morning preparations for our CHAT2Us group. No matter how much I love being part of it, sometimes the pressure was overwhelming.

That's where Charlie comes in. She had been interested in running the group in April but had her hands full with other activities helping The Harbour Cancer Support team. But as luck would have it, when I contacted her, Charlie had put her resignation in so was looking for another project to get her teeth into. She immediately said she would love to become involved with CHAT2Us. Now we are working closely together to make sure we get it right this time!

Charlie will be starting up Craft Sessions after the usual Social Chats (11am - 1pm) at the Henry Cook Centre, these will start at 1.15 until 3pm every Monday (except Bank Holidays).

First visit to our group is FREE then £3 subs, for each session. This will cover donations towards refreshments and craft materials. Membership is Free.

Don't forget we have lunch on the third Monday of every month - just look at your calendar and count down to the third Monday, all included in the subs.

I am sure after your weekend you are just longing to get out and meet others like yourself, so pop along and you will find a welcoming, friendly group of people. Ages ranging from 36 to 101! Don't forget too that your first visit is FREE! and there's no parking charges either.
