Despite a last minute change to our scheduled program today was lovely ....

We were sorry not to welcome Rachel Webber back to the group this morning as she was having teeth trouble, hopefully the emergency dentist has made it less painful for her. Meanwhile it was a lovely busy, buzzing morning today at the Henry Cook Centre which was our last day there. We welcomed new member Barbara to CHAT2Us Gosport, we hope you will enjoy coming along to our meetings, we really are friendly bunch!

Despite a last minute change to our scheduled program today was lovely with lots of chatting and sharing including woolly hats for Ukraine from Toni for Joy via Sandy. While Sandy and Ginny were busy joining up squares for blankets to go to Ukraine. Ann

has taken Leslies' broken necklace to repair. Norma was able to give Ann a pair of no.5 knitting needles she needed for a project., while Norma has nearly finished knitting the wee cardigan. . Donations were gratefully brought in for the corsages for prom outfits which we will soon be busy with. Ginny brought in a large homemade fruit cake which we all enjoyed. The exercise group had two new joining in while 'the walking wounded' sat it out this week. We have now removed all our groups' belongings from Henry Cook Centre and have returned the keys , just as well as HCC is facing major refurbishment!

Next week we will be in our new home in the Privett Suite , Thorngate Halls as we continue our transition to new leadership. Same time as usual (11am - 1pm) and all the regular faces we hope.

We look forward to a new chapter in CHAT2Us story. Written by Leslie Mitchell

Now we move UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT to the Thorngate Halls - GCA Events Venue to start our new beginnings under Charlie Hylands and Stacie Buchan I wish them lots of luck and hope they enjoy as much as I did.

I am not disappearing but will be busy enough in the office helping with the administration and treasury.

Here are a few pictures, for the last time at HCC, and you can see how much they were enjoying exercising with Jacqui Good our NHS trained tutor. Jacqui will still be with us fortnightly so please come along if you feel you could do with help with your mobility .
