What Have We Been Doing?

*Charlie visited Amsterdam during the Christmas break and thrilled us all by telling us what she had been up to and about her journey. As a disabled woman traveling with a mobility scooter it was surprising how easy she found it. We were lucky enough to see some of her photographs she took especially of the little pastel houses she saw. This was the topic of her afternoon Art & Craft Workshop where she had members drawing/painting them using her pictures.

  • Last week our members enjoyed a lovely lunch prepared by Wendy with cakes baked for us by Ginny. During the afternoon Diane introduced us to Relaxation, Mediation and Mindfulness Techniques the perfect way to spend an hour of the day.

  • Jacqui has visited us to motivate our mobility by exercising to music and will be with us again on Monday!

  • This week is 'Random Acts of Kindness Gifts', we all love an opportunity to make something for someone else!

  • Then, of course, we have the beginning of March, a time to look forward to all the spring flowers sprouting up and a time for us to begin planting for the summer, What are you going to plant in your garden patch?
