Jane Glennie 'Women Wearing Trousers'

Another great visit by Jane Glennie, she really does play the part well! Today was 'women wearing trousers'. A history lesson told so authentically by Jane, what did finally make the women stand up and say we want to wear trousers too! It was a hard fight and we only finally won through during the second world war when men began realising how difficult it was for us to work in factories, farms and even riding bikes

and many other situations when dresses could not only be dangerous but at times harmful to our health! Thank you Jane for another very insightful lesson of our history brought to us with such fun! Unfortunately, Jeanette forgot to get some photos (the talk was so good!) I am so glad we are at a time where we can decide what we wear and not decided by men!
