We welcomed Tracey Ward, Stonemason

It was lovely welcoming Tracey to the group today. An Accountant turned Stonemason in her spare time. A craft she has followed for the past few years after wanting to get her hands into something more than just painting. She showed us a video presentation of the types of different stoneware she has worked with and how they have been used over the years. From the Egyptians, to Romans to now. She also bought with her a selection of small stoneware which as a collective was very heavy. A very interesting presentation, I would love to catch up with her next year to see what she is doing next. A treat for her afterwards was tucking into lunch!
